About Diane McLennon
Diane McLennon is active in law enforcement and has been with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office for 10 years. She is currently with the Special Assault Unit where she has worked hundreds of cases involving sex crimes against children and adults, aggravated child abuse cases, and aggravated elder abuse cases.
Since 2024, she has been an adjunct faculty member of the Institute of Police Technology and
Management (IPTM), for whom she teaches Crimes Against Children. Diane also has assisted the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Human Trafficking Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children Unit in operations to catch online predators and victims of Human Trafficking. Diane continues to teach new recruit classes at the Criminal Justice Training Center throughout the year. The subjects she focuses on are Crimes Against Persons, Child Abuse, and Sexual Assault Investigations. She has also taught at numerous schools educating young teens on the dangers of online predators and sexual assault.
