This one-day course provides a simple explanation of the most common violations officers encounter while on patrol and is designed to provide officers with the “best practices” when conducting motor vehicle stops. The program also introduces officers to detecting possible criminal conduct during stops. Officers will get an overview of pre-stop indicators, analyzing behavior, roadside questioning, developing probable cause for search, and much more.
